Vrana Lake was given the status of a nature park in 1999. The boundaries of the park are set between Pirovci and Pakoštane. The park is one of the rare, almost intact habitats of aquatic birds; it has natural drinking water and abounds in diversity. Due to its traits, the park is unique, not only in terms of Croatian territory, but also in a wider European area. the fish found in the lake make this biggest lake in Croatia a special ornithological reserve. There you can see three different sceneries; seashore and an archipelago beneath it, a Mediterranean swamp with a breathtaking scenery and ecosystem, and just behind the hill idyllic areas of Ravni Kotar are waiting for you.
