Skradin lies on the bank of Krka river. It is a small and picturesque town with narrow, cobbled streets, vaulted passages and stairs. In the old town you will find houses dating back to 18th and 19th century, each and every facade reminiscent of Venice, marking clearly the influence. The whole old town is a protected heritage. The inhabitants of Skradin traditionally do fishing, and luckily, this is an area that abounds in fish and seashells, for this is where salty and sweet waters meet. Skradin harbor is one of the most beautiful and most frequented along the Croatian coast.
